She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She graduated Cum Laude and was also honored by the American College of Prosthodontics. She also served as a bench instructor helping teach first and second year students. Dr. Harr received her undergraduate degree from Wheeling Jesuit University. She majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Harr was also valedictorian at St. John Central High School.
Dr. Joy L Harr is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Eastern Ohio Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association, and the Wheeling District Dental Association.
