Dr. Bosak received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry in 1988 after completing undergraduate studies in biology at California State University at Northridge. He immediately began practicing around southern California, and in 1992 opened his own dental practice. He has been a practice owner ever since.
Continuing education is extremely important to Dr. Bosak, with supplemental courses and special training being undertaken annually. Dental implants are made up of a dental implant post, an abutment, and a dental restoration. The dental implant post is surgically placed in the bone socket of the missing tooth. As the jawbone heals, it will fuse with the post. After the healing process is complete, an abutment is placed on top of the implant post. The dental restoration, which can be a dental crown, dental bridge, or dentures, is attached to the abutment.
