Dr. Bryan Thatcher was raised in the Tampa Bay area. After graduating from Jesuit High School, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. He attended the University of Florida for his dental degree. Dr. Thatcher continued his education by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency which focused on comprehensive dental treatment and implants.
Dr. Thatcher currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry at their post-doctoral residency program. Dr. Thatcher currently serves as the President of the Hillsborough County Dental Association.
Dr. Thatcher is constantly updating his knowledge through continuing education at the local and national level, as well as being a member in various study clubs. Dr. Thatcher gives back to the community through local dental charity events, includingMission Smiles,and he has traveled to South America, Central America, and Haiti for dental mission trips.
Dr. T. Gregory Jacobs received his B.S. from Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina; his D.D.S. from Emory University School of Dentistry, Atlanta, Georgia; and a certificate in prosthodontics from the National Naval Dental School, Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Jacobs is a board-certified prosthodontist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, as well as a Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists.
He is a member of many professional organizations, including national, state, and local dental associations, as well as the Academy of Osseointegration, the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontists, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Jacobs believes in continuing education and learning. He attends many lectures and meetings so to have the knowledge to give the best of care in the dental profession.
Dr. Jacobs has been in private practice for the past 24 years in Tampa and Sun City Center, Florida. He and his wife have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys golf and hiking, as well as the Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers.
Dr. McKenzi Taylor was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating high school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwest Missouri State University. Following this, she continued her education to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. Dr. Taylor then moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, to complete an Advanced Education residency in General Dentistry with the University of Florida, the same residency for which Dr. Thatcher currently serves as an Associate Professor. This residency focused on providing patients with comprehensive dental treatment and utilizing advanced technology in implant dentistry.
Dr. Taylor keeps up to date in dentistry through continuing education at both the national and local levels. She is currently a part of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where she keeps up to date on the most recent technology in implant dentistry. She is also a member of the local Hillsborough County Dental Association and Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Taylor has a passion for giving back through various charity organizations in her free time, including Florida Missions of Mercy and Team Smile. She also enjoys spending time with her brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Ashley, and niece, Penelope, who moved to Florida from Missouri. Being from Kansas City, Dr. Taylor is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan but is slowly turning into a Bucs fan each time Tom Brady completes another touchdown pass.
