Dr. Richard D. Huffman, Jr. has over 30 years of clinical experience practicing dentistry in the Roanoke Valley. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dental Medicine (formerly Medical College of Virginia) with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Huffman is very passionate about being a life-long learner, and he has achieved fellowship status with the Virginia Dental Association, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the International College of Dentistry. Additionally, he has been involved with organized dentistry and has served as past president of the Piedmont Dental Society.
Dr. Huffman has 2 grown sons, and when not spending time with them or practicing dentistry, he enjoys motorcycle racing, furniture making, and geriatric crossfit. Dr. Huffman looks forward to putting his experience and knowledge to use in helping you achieve the level of oral health and smile that you desire.
Dr. Kreger was born and raised in Roanoke and received his bachelors degree from Wake Forest University. Dr. Kreger graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at East Carolina University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Roanoke Valley Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Kreger participates with the local Spear Study Club, and enjoys the continuing education courses that they offer. He is a regular volunteer at the Bradley Free Clinic and local Mission of Mercy projects.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kreger likes to stay active by playing golf, basketball, and participating in triathlons. He is also an avid supporter of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Youre likely to see Dr. Kreger with his wife, daughter, and Goldendoodle enjoying many of the outdoor activities the Roanoke Valley has to offer. Dr. Kreger looks forward to putting his knowledge and skills to use in helping you achieve your perfect smile.
