Dr. Keith Hinnant, the son of practice founder Dr. Willard Hinnant, along with Dr. Peter Klein, Dr. Brittney Thorne and Dr. Ellen Nordgren are experienced dentists. I grew up at the office andwatchedmy father, Dr. Willard Hinnant, care for his patients. It was incredible to see how he was able to improve a persons life, and I admired the connections he made with each patient. For more than 20 years, Ive carried on my fathers legacy:treating each patient with compassion and respect, and helping them achieve their healthiest smiles.
My patients feel like family to me, and I care about each persons well-being. Not only do I want everyoneto achieve a healthy, becoming smile, but I want them to have overall wellness and to enjoy life.
I particularly enjoy restorative and aesthetic work. Its a great feeling to restore a persons oral health, toallowthem to chew properly and enjoy eating the foods they like again, and to give them a smile they love in the process.

As part of our commitment to caring for our community, in 2016 our team created Hinnants Helping Hands. This organization goes beyond our office and provides support for food drives, baby item drives, and anything we can do to show support for members of Wayne County.

I grew up here in Goldsboro. My wife Garianne and I married in 2015. Together we have four amazing children: Braden, Logan, Brexton, and Keigan. Being with family is my priority when Im not at work. I try and make time for other passions, including hunting, fishing, and golfing.
I am so pleased to join Dr. Hinnant and the rest of the team here at Hinnant Family Dentistry. I have worked with many other dental professionals over the years, but never have I worked with more skilled, knowledgeable, and caring group of people. They are truly dedicated to doing the best we can for each of our patients.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1988 and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1993 where I graduated with honors in the top of my class.
I participate in many continuing education seminars each year including well-regarded Hinman dental meeting where I attend lectures from many of the leading clinicians in dentistry. I choose to participate in continuing education because it is important to me that my patients receive the most comprehensive, competent and up to date care I can give.
I grew up in the small town of Allegan Michigan. I practiced in Grand Rapids, Michigan from 1993 until 2010 when I sold my practice and moved to Wilson to be closer to family. My wife of 25 years Laura and I have two sons, Daniel who is 22 and Eric who is 19. We also have a cat named Ellie.
Being a dentist, working with my hands every day, and improving oral health is my dream job and a goal I have been working toward for many years. My grandfather practiced family medicine in Wayne county for nearly 60 years and my father is an emergency room physician, so I grew up around health care and had the privilege of watching them build relationships with patients and take care of them. I decided I wanted to do the same thing in my own way through dentistry.
My goals are to build relationships with my patients and to provide them with dental services that help them become healthier and happier in the process. My favorite parts of dentistry are the abilities to relieve a patients dental pain, improve their ability to chew properly, and improve their confidence by restoring their smile.
I am so excited to be a part of the Hinnant family dentistry team. When you visit HFD, not only are you visiting an office with the latest and greatest technology and the ability to provide various treatment options based on your dental needs, you are also taken care of by a team with a patient centered focus. Every team member is dedicated to providing the best possible care to each person who walks through the doors.
Its important to me to stay up to date through continuing education on the latest technology and research in dentistry. In particular, I enjoy expanding my knowledge in the fields of minimally invasive adhesive dentistry and Invisalign clear aligners.
I grew up right here in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and I am so happy to bring my dental skills back to my hometown. Ive been happily married to my husband Andrew since 2019. We attend The First Church and love all the community outreach that is done there. Outside of work, you can find me spending time with family, working on DIY projects, exercising, or reading a good book.
