At Hannibal Dental Group (HDG), weve been providing friendly, full-service family dentistry to patients of all ages and with all kinds of unique needs since 1962. In all that time, weve helped more than 20,000 people achieve healthier, happier smiles so many, in fact, that we simply call them Hannibal Smiles. For us, nothing is more important than your dental care.
We work hard to ensure short waits and always take the time to answer your questions and educate you about your dental health. And with five dentists on staff, we can accommodate dental emergencies immediately.
We also provide certain extras that are truly unique to dentistry, like a playroom for kids and open procedure areas so parents can observe, keep their child comfortable, and get direct feedback from the doctors and staff.
If you dont have insurance, we offer our own in-house dental savings plan called Quality Dental Plan. Be sure and ask us how you can get affordable dental care through this plan. We can even create a customized payment plan just for you.
Hannibal Dental Group has a whole team of experienced dentists devoted to putting a beautiful smile on your face, and a friendly, helpful staff to assist you. At our office, youll find that dentist availability is no problem and we offer most services right here, under one roof.
Hi, my name is Carol! I work for Dr. Paul Harder and I love being a dental assistant. I get to meet so many different people. Adults and children alike may come in scared, so I do my best to calm them down. I tell them we are here to help, not hurt.
Hello, my name is Shelby, but everyone calls me Shelb! I began my dental assistant career with Dr. Paul Harder in 2017. Being a dental assistant is rewarding in several ways. I enjoy interacting with our patients and getting getting to know them on a personal level. Being able to help our patients create a healthy and confident smile is one of our favorite things to do! We always go above and beyond to make sure our patients are comfortable in every way possible. I like to help patients that are nervous or scared by talking them through the treatment and why it's important that they came in. I grew up in Hannibal and now live in Saverton with my husband and our daughter, Addison. I enjoy spending time with family, friends and cheering on the St. Louis Blues!
My name is Madi, and I work as a dental assistant for Dr. Harder. All my life I've loved working with people and helping people, so I knew this would be a good job for me! I enjoy making people feel comfortable and happy. I live in Monroe City with a friend of mine and our pets Indy, and Taylor. I enjoy being with family and friends in my spare time and living life to the fullest!
Hello, my name is Brooke. I am one of Dr. Harder's Dental Assistants. I live in the little town of Perry, MO with my other half Trent, along with out blended family of four, Paisley, Adley, Casen and Rylen. I enjoy going camping with my family at the Mark Twain Lake and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. I began my dental career in 2018 after I completed my dental assisting program in Columbia, MO. The best part of my job is being able to meet and interact with new patients every day and helping them create a healthy, confident smile!
My name is Catrina, but please call me Trina. I truly love being a dental assistant. It's very rewarding because I get to make a difference in someones life by helping to make their smile beautiful. I also truly enjoy volunteering at the Hannibal Free Dental Clinic. It is very rewarding and the patients are so very appreciative of us. It warms my heart to help others in their time of need.
I enjoy caring for the patients who are terrified of the dentist because I used to be that person. I remember how the dental assistant I had held my hand to calm my fears; she made me feel secure and believe that everything was going to be ok. Now I get to do the same for Hannibal Dental Group patients!
I enjoy getting to meet new people on a daily basis and constantly be doing something different. I like sharing my knowledge of dentistry and helping patients understand why a particular treatment is needed. I can honestly say my work is my passion and my life.
I have been working with Hannibal Dental Group since 2016. I took the Dental Assisting Program offered by the group in 2014 with Dr Ricker and Dr. Harder. I grew up in Hannibal and I am a wife and mother of two children, Jared and Charlee. The most rewarding part of being a dental assistant is being a part of giving someone back their smile. In my free time, I also volunteer at the free clinic.
