I am deeply passionate about oral health and creating valuable services to people at a personal and community level. Practicing dentistry at Great Hill Dental has given me the opportunity to combine both of these interests in an environment that encourages clinical and ethical excellence. The first step in providing quality oral care is creating an atmosphere of trust where patients can confidently express their concerns and get crucial information. There is a proven correlation between adequate preventative education and quality oral care and my goal as a clinician is to equip patients with such information, which in turn enables our dental team provide exemplary dental care. Finally, as dental technology evolves I strive to be in the forefront of dental innovation so that patients have access to improved levels of care.

I was born in Poland in a small town about 100 miles from Berlin. I now live in Sherborn, Massachusetts, a small town in the middle of the woods, with my three wonderful children and our dog, Holly. Being a single father after losing my wife to cancer four years ago, I play an active role in the lives of my children while working as a full-time dentist. This leaves very little time for anything else, but when I have the chance I enjoy listening to classical music, gardening, and going to the gym.
It is always my goal to help people retain their natural teeth in health and function by restoring their smile and ability to eat and speak with comfort. I find the practice of periodontics to be extremely intellectually challenging and stimulating. Even after 20 years of practice, I continue to be fascinated by the various procedures for aesthetic gum treatment, dental implants, and regenerative therapy.
I regularly attend general dental and specialty conferences at the regional and national level to learn about the best, most effective ways to improve my patients periodontal health. Additionally, I was a pre-clinical instructor in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and a clinical instructor in Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
My wife and I have been married for 20 years and we have two sons who are very active in their school sports. After work, I enjoy playing baseball, soccer, and basketball with my boys. I have been a Red Sox fan all my life, and more recently a supporter of the New England Revolution. I coach soccer and baseball, play softball, and in my leisure time, enjoy fishing, reading, and hiking.

By doing this, I am helping my patients enjoy their dental experiences and learn great life-long oral habits. I am fully committed and dedicated to ensuring each little smile I treat gets nothing but the best and gentlest dental care available.
I take several continuing education courses throughout the year so I can keep informed about the newest and most proven research and developments in the field of pediatric dentistry. It is very important that I stay at the cutting edge of my fields advancements so that I am able to provide each of the little smiles I treat with the utmost the dental industry has to offer.
Dentistry is an exciting yet challenging field, but I truly enjoy every day of practice. Periodontics in particular is a fascinating field that is constantly changing and updating. New research and technology is changing the way periodontists treat patients, with increasing comfort and efficacy. And while I am passionate about saving teeth, dental implants have allowed for treatment not possible in the past and is an integral part of my practice.
