I have been practicing dentistry since 1980 and am a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. I attend numerous continuing education classes each year to learn about the latest advances in dentistry and how to incorporate them into my dental practice. My goal is to raise your oral health to a state of excellence and then to have you maintain that condition through good home care and routine maintenance. I am a member of the Berkeley Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, road cycling throughout the bay area, tinkering with new technology and gadgets, watching TV and movies, or just hanging out with my wife, four daughters and son.
I am so excited to be joining my father, Dr. James E. Forbes, in his Berkeley dental practice of over 30 years. I grew up around his office, and now dedicate myself to the same principles of efficiency, individualized treatment planning, and using the latest technologies to provide quality care to my patients. Our entire team is committed to your oral health, and I am so proud to be a part of it.
Before joining the practice, I earned my bachelors degree from UCLA and my D.D.S. from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. When Im not helping patients, I also enjoy running, swimming, salsa dancing, watching my bay area sports teams, spending time with my big family, and playing with my dogs.
