Dr. Cheney graduated from Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi, and earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He continues to refine his skills and expand his knowledge with continuing education courses, ensuring that hes always abreast of new developments in the field and advances in dental technology.
Before going into private practice, he spent 11 years serving in the United States Army. During his military career, he was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq, and saw active duty as a general dentist in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Cheney is a strong proponent of giving back to the community. Hes a board member of the Summit Family YMCA, Chair, West Georgia Technical College Dental Assisting Program and former board member of the Samaritan Clinic of Coweta County where he continues to volunteer.
