Dr. Dwight H. Pate graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1985. He then completed a residency program in General Dentistry at The University of Alabama in Birmingham where he began acquiring considerable knowledge in the concept of comprehensive dental diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment delivery. With this background he opened his private practice in Auburndale, FL in 1988. He continued his pursuit of comprehensive excellence by placing a strong emphasis on continuing education in order to stay current with the leading edge materials and methods available. This led him to complete extensive studies with The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, FL and The Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Swampscott, MA near Boston. Also studying with The Pride Institute, these studies and other ongoing continuing education have helped him to develop his philosophy of comprehensive state-of-the-art dentistry and help him to keep his diagnostic and treatment planning skills current and up to date.

Danielle began her career in dentistry with Dr. Pate over 13 years ago! She resides in Auburndale with her wonderful family of 6: a husband of 10 years, her 20-year-old stepson, her 2-year-old daughter and 2 vivacious pups. Danielle loves to travel and try new restaurants, spend time with family and friends, and most evenings after work, youll find her working out hard at the gym.
Tylin has been a dental assistant since 2016 and all those years have been right here with Dr. Pate. She is married to her 4th grade sweetheart and together they share 2 gorgeous children. Tylin loves fishing, going to the beach, boating, and anything else outdoors especially if it involves spending time with her family.
Lesley is our Indiana small-town gal that has been working with Dr. Pate for over 15 years! She is an avid college football and basketball fan, including tailgating of course, and she exudes passion for her dog walking business.
Jennifer has been with us over 2 years but her career in dentistry spans almost 20 years working both as a dental assistant and an administrator. Auburndale is home to Jenn, born and raised! This proud mother of 4, one of which walks on 4 paws, cherishes nothing more than spending time with her family, sharing stories, good food, and laughter.

More recently his professional interests have been directed toward cosmetic, implant and advanced restorative dentistry. He completed the prestigious Nash Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry as well as distinguishing himself as a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists* by presenting and documenting competency in completing over 200 implants.
He has a passion for teaching, evidenced in how he works with patients to educate them to the best options available to establish and maintain optimal dental health. To further this passion, Dr. Pate has accepted an Adjunct Faculty position at The University of Florida College of Dentistrys Graduate Clinic in Seminole, Florida. He teaches clinical dentistry to 12 post doctorate graduate students 2 days a month for the University. He is also the clinical director for Implant Educators which is The University of Floridas 7 month continuum in Implant Dentistry where he teaches dentists from all around the U.S. and some international doctors about implant surgery and restoration in a comprehensive format.
As you can see, he stays current in the latest advances available in dentistry and is able to offer his patients the very best, most esthetic and most predictable dentistry available to establish and maintain optimal oral health, and to design and deliver the attractive smile that everyone desires.
Dr. Pate is a member in good standing of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the Polk County Dental Association and he hosts a local Study Club where he and his colleagues get together to brainstorm the best treatment modalities and learn about new techniques and procedures as well as improve on existing protocols.
