Dr. Ramos office is equipped with some of todays most advanced dental technology, such as computer-based imaging, which produces high-resolution of your teeth and gums and allows for a more thorough evaluation. In addition, she uses digital X-rays, making them the obvious choice for safety.
Dr. Carmen Ramos completed her Periodontics Residency training at the VA Medical Center in Los Angeles- UCLA program. She also completed her General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from dental school in 1987.
In practice for over 20 years, Dr. Ramos is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Certified in the various Implant Systems, conscious sedation and basic life support, she also stays abreast of the latest advances in dentistry with memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontology, California Dental Society, Los Angeles Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She lectures to various dental groups and was a contributing professor at the Advanced Education General Dentistry program at UCLA.
Dr. Ramos comes from a large family, as she is the eighth of nine children. She has two children of her own and enjoys camping, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with her large, extended family in her free time.
