In February of 2008 we came together as a team, with this common purpose: through Gods grace, to establish a premier pediatric dental office in the community of OFallon, Missouri. From the beginning we shared the same vision: to live to be a blessing to others by optimizing the oral health of the children we serve.
From our earliest conversations it became clear that our common vision would be guided by our common values. We signed our names to these core values: Love, for the patient and one another; Integrity, as our actions and attitudes must consistently reflect our beliefs; and a Commitment to Excellence, as we will meet and exceed the highest standard of care while seeking continuous improvement.
Years later we have seen the children in our community grow and change, but WE refuse to get any older! Daily we create a safe harbor for our patients, parents and teammates as we seek to educate and inspire the people we serve. For eleven consecutive years we have been selected by our peers for the TOP DENTISTS list for the St. Louis area. We are grateful for this honor, and we thank the parents who have chosen our office for their childs dental home.
This pediatric dental practice that we are establishing will be a safe harbor for the patients we are privileged to serve. We will live to be a blessing to others as we inspire, educate and assist the people in our community to optimize their childrens oral health. Miss Sue has been our office manager since the opening of our practice in 2008. With the wisdom of 26 years in the dental field, she has skillfully guided many parents through the tough waters of insurance and even life itself. She holds certifications in CPR through the American Heart Association and Deep Sedation/General Anesthesia Sedation Monitoring through Premier Dental Anesthesiology. Away from the office she loves to spend time with family and friends in many outdoor activities. She and her husband love traveling, especially by sailboat, island hopping in the Caribbean.
Dr. Burchett is a graduate of The Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. Before he became a dentist he served for four years as an officer in the Marine Corps after graduating from Truman State University. Following dental school he completed an additional two years of training in pediatric dentistry at Saint Barnabas Hospital in New York. After completion of his pediatric training he entered private practice in Houston, Texas. With a dream of returning to his Missouri roots, he left Houston to open his own practice in February of 2008 in OFallon. Dr. Burchett and his wife have two children, Whitney and Wade and one grandchild, Marley. In his spare time he enjoys fly fishing, lifting weights, and watching Wild Kratts with Marley.
Dr. Burchett is member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Missouri Dental Association, Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, St. Louis Dental Society, and the Greater St. Louis Pediatric Dental Society.
