Dr. Perry is a Lake Charles native graduating from Barbe High school, McNeese State University, and LSU Dental School. After graduating in 2005, Dr. Perry went straight into practice, acquiring the general dentistry practice of Dr. John L Speer. Following hurricane Rita, Dr. Perry also acquired the patients of Dr. Jacob Dent, who lost his building in Creole, LA. In 2010, Dr. Perry moved his practice to Lake Street, taking responsibility for the care of Dr. Hugh W. Raetzschs patients.
Dr. Perry stays current by attending many post-graduate courses in different fields of dentistry. He is certified to perform both adult oral conscious sedation (oral sedation) and nitrous oxide sedation (laughing gas) to help provide comfort for his patients. Professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and Calcasieu Parish Dental Society. He has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President of the Calcasieu Parish Dental Society. He also has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President of the Southwest District of the Louisiana Dental Association.
Dentistry is a family attribute for Dr. Perry, as his father practices general dentistry and his two uncles are orthodontists in the Lake Charles area. He also has many relatives that also practice dentistry in Louisiana. Dr. Perry is married and has one daughter.
