Dr. Rastetter was born and raised in Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa for both his undergraduate studies and dental school. After graduating, he completed a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He has been practicing in Des Moines since the summer of 2000.
Des Moines, IA (June 29th, 2013) The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Dwight Rastetter, DDS, FAGD, of Johnston, IA, received the associations Fellowship Award during the AGD 2013 Annual Meeting & Exhibits, held from June 27 to 30 in Nashville, Tenn.
The AGD Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Rastetter completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive exam, and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD.
