In 1998 after graduating University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree Cum Laude , Dr. Kaplansky continued his training as a resident in the Advanced General Dentistry program at UB.
Since 1999, hes been practicing family dentistry with a special interest in orthodontics (braces) and dental implants. In 2002 he opened up a practice in Middleport and in 2007 moved it to a newly constructed, state-of-the-art building in Gasport.
Professionally, Dr. Kaplansky is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Eighth District Dental Society, the Niagara County Dental Society, Lockport Dental Society and Academy of GP orthodontics. He received prestigious fellowship awards from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2003 and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2008.

She continued her education pursuing a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, CA. She has been practicing general dentistry since 2017, providing dental care for adults and children. Dr. Koli is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, The Eighth District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.Outside the office, you will find Dr. Koli exploring outdoors with friends and family. She also enjoys cooking and baking various cuisines from around the world.

While in school she was a recipient of a prestigious Maryanne Mather Clinical Research Award for her active participation in clinical research. Dr. Smith finished her general practice residency at Faxton St. Lukes Hospital in Utica, New York in 2015 and same year joined our practice. Her main focus is general dentistry for both children and adults. Dr. Smith is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA).In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking with her family and dog, and working on finishing all 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks. Dr. Smith especially enjoys the hiatus of DIY home construction.
