Jordyn is a native of Beaver Dam, WI, lived in Lakewood, but she now with her husband Robert and their Goldendoodle Ellie, live in Albequerque. Being from Wisconsin, this Green Bay Packers fan loves cheese! She likes her cheese plain, with crackers, or on pretty much anything. Jordyn is very active and enjoys activities such as running (6 half marathons, 1 full marathon!), yoga, cooking, hiking, camping, reading, traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things. Her favorite movie is Legally Blonde, favorite show is New Girl, and favorite book is Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed. In terms of music, at the top of her favorite artist list is John Mayer. When Jordyn goes on vacation, Lake Tahoe is her destination of choice and tubing and wakeboarding are her favorite activities there. Jordyn has been in the dental field for 6 years, and is now a huge help to team Dentistry Golden Ridge through remote communication. Sarah is a Colorado native! She is originally from Englewood, Colorado and has lived here her whole life. Sarah lives with her husband, Cody, and her daughter, Sophia. Since this is where Sarah has always called home, of course her favorite sports team is Denver-based: the Colorado Rockies! Also along those lines, she is a self-proclaimed Colorado Sports Book nerd. Her hobbies include knitting, board games, and camping. Her favorite food is tacos. Her favorite book is 'The DaVinci Code.' Sarah 's favorite movie is The Last Samurai, and her favorite musicians are Otis Redding and Dion. Another favorite: her TV show of choice is The Big Bang Theory. When asked, Sarah provides two very specific vacation spots: Crescent City, California and Agate Beach. Another fun fact: Sarah plays the trumpet! We love that her favorite part of her job is making patients laugh. Though Sarah has only been in the dental field for 4 years, she has such a wonderful knowledge base in all aspects of dentistry; we 're so happy to have her on the team!
A Nebraska native, Dr. Jamie Irwin Richard grew up in Omaha, NE as the first of 3 children. She graduated cum laude from Ball State University Honors College with a BS in Biology on academic and gymnastics scholarships. Upon graduation, Dr. Richard was fortunate to have the opportunity to become a dental assistant in a community clinic where she realized that dentistry was the career choice for her. After graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry with a DDS degree, she decided to complete a one-year intense general practice residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her love for the mountains drew her to Denver, and she made the move in 2008 upon completion of her residency. Since that time, she has been practicing dentistry in the Denver Metro area, and opened Dentistry at Golden Ridge in 2013. Dr. Richard is a member of several organizations including The American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Metro Denver Dental Society and the American Society of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. She is also active in local study clubs including Biomet 3i Synergy Training Program and the International Partnership on the Study of Occlusion.
Dr. Richard and her husband like to take advantage of all that the beautiful state of Colorado has to offer. Their weekend activities include skiing/snowboarding, hiking, road and mountain biking, rock climbing, attending sporting events, traveling, watching the HGTV network, and continually doing their own home improvement projects. Their one and three year old girls keeps them very busy as well, as they discover every day the joys of being new parents.
