Drs. Merrick and Laura Dameron were raised in the northern Atlanta area, and have been a part of the Hickory Flat community for over 16 years. They have built a successful dental practice by providing high quality dental care with superior customer service.
Dr. Merrick Dameron grew up in Roswell, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, and a huge UGA football fan! After college, Dr. Dameron completed dental school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. There, he was an honor student and graduated in the top of his class.
Dr. Laura Dameron grew up in Stone Mountain and Marietta. She also went to the University of Georgia. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and learned to love UGA football. Dr. Dameron graduated dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, and was also an honor student and top graduate. After dental school, she completed a one year General Practice Residency program which gave her more training in hospital and general dentistry.
The Damerons live in Hickory Flat and have 2 sons, Aaron and Ben, and a Labrodoodle puppy named Kirby. When they are not at the office, they love traveling and spending time with their boys. Their hobbies include Boy Scouts, the kidss sports games and University of Georgia games.
Drs. Merrick and Laura Dameron are both active members of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society. The both believe in keeping abreast of the newest advances in dental techniques and technology, by investing in continual education and training. The Damerons also believe in involving you-the patient-in this learning process. Their office and team are designed to help educate you about your dental health and provide you with the best treatment possible.
Dental Hygienist Jessica attended school at Gainsville College and Lanier Technical College and has been with Dameron Family Dentistry for 12 years. Jessica and her husband both grew up in Cherokee County. They have two kids, a son and a daughter. Away from the office, Jessica enjoys watching her kids play sports and fishing and scalloping in Florida.
Dental Assistant Kim has been a part of the Dameron team for 15 years. She grew up in Cherokee County and graduated from Cherokee High School. Kim and her husband Jeff married in 1990, and have 2 children, Kayla and Chandler. When shes away from the office, she enjoys traveling to watch her son play college basketball, and spending time with her family. She also loves to binge watch Say Yes to the Dress and Fixer Upper.
Dental Assistant Dana attended school at Georgias Perimeter College and has been with Dameron Family Dentistry for 15 years. Dana is a native of Atlanta and a current resident of East Cobb. Before coming to Dameron Family, Dana worked at dental offices in Sandy Springs and Buckhead. Dana and her husband have been married for 18 years and have a fourteen-year-old son. In her free time, Dana enjoys Zumba, mountain biking, and spending time with family and friends.
Front Office Insurance and Billing Coordinator Rachel joined the Dameron team four years ago but has been in dentistry for over 14 years. She grew up in Woodstock and graduated from Woodstock High School in 2003. Rachel and her husband Donnie married in April of 2017 and are parents to three amazing children, Gray, Brinley, and Lilly. When shes not at the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, baking, indulging in Netflix and watching college football. ROLL TIDE!
Dental Hygienist Grey has been with the Dameron team for 12 year and received her associates in science in dental hygiene. In her free time Grey enjoys boating with her family on Lake Lanier, reading books and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
Dental Hygienist Dawn attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and has been with the Dameron Family Dental team for 3.5 years. Dawn and her husband of 34 years, Richardson, have two grown daughters and a wonderful son in law. She and her family have lived in Hickory Flat area for 20 years and are very active in their community. When shes not at the office, Dawn enjoys cooking healthy food, sewing, playing tennis, trying new creative projects, spending time with family and staying involved with church activities.
Front Office Patient Coordinator Linda graduated from Cherokee High School and Cochise College. She bring over 20 years of dental experience to the Dameron team. She loves getting to know her patients and their families. When shes not busy at the office, Linda is married and has two grown children, five grandchildren, and two dogs. Her hobbies include hiking and camping in the great outdoors.
