My name is Cary and I recently joined the awesome team here at Crystal Lake Dental Arts in August, 2019. While being new to CLDA, I have many years of experience as a front desk coordinator in the dental field. Meeting and interacting with all of our patients is a favorite part of my job, as well as aiding you in any of your dental concerns or needs.
Hello. My name is Shelly and I have worked as a dental assistant at Crystal Lake Dental Arts for the last 16 years. I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful practice to work at. Not only does our staff feel like family to me, but many of our patients have been here much longer than I and they to feel like family as well. Ive been married to my husband Greg for the past 34 years. We have three grown children, one daughter in law, one son in law, and two dogsKolbie and Scout. I look forward to meeting you and helping to assist with your dental needs.
Amy has been with Crystal Lake Dental Arts since 2013. She earned her dental hygiene degree from William Rainey Harper College in 1997. She enjoys her career in the dental field and is happy to help every patient feel comfortable during their dental visit and to have a better understanding of the importance of good dental health. Amy was raised in nearby Woodstock and lives in Marengo with her husband and two sons. She enjoys being a busy mom and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Gary Rempert earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University Illinois College of Dentistry after graduation from Miami University, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology. Upon completion of his studies at the University of Illinois he served in the United States Navy as a dental officer and was stationed at Naval Support Activity, New Orleans, Louisiana, Naval Air Station, Belle Chasse, Louisiana, and on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). Following active duty Dr. Rempert returned to the Chicago area and practiced as an associate dentist and remained in the United States Naval reserve for an additional six years.
In 2000 he moved his practice to Crystal Lake, Illinois. He has pursued advanced dental training at the L.D. Panky Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and at Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona. He remains an eternal student through continuing education and is also a teacher volunteering at Loyola University, Maywood, Illinois with general practice residents. Dr. Rempert spends a considerable amount of time and resources educating himself and participates in excess of 150 hours of continuing dental education annually. Dr. Rempert and his wife Laura have two cats and reside in Crystal Lake. Gary enjoys spending time with his family, photography, woodworking, gardening, and the pursuit of a further understanding of dentistry. Dr. Rempert holds a black belt in Hapkido and enjoys playing the guitar. He loves his profession and gives back to his community through local volunteer opportunities and has traveled to Nepal to provide dental care to undeserved residents of the Ganesh Himal region.
