Dr. Nguyen has completed intensive training in both the surgical and restorative processes of implant dentistry through Nobel Biocare, an industry leader in implant technology and materials. He has also undergone training at USC in a number of orthognathic surgeries that can make the implant procedure more successful, including advanced bone grafting, ridge augmentation, and sinus elevation.
Dr. Nguyen went into dentistry because he wanted to be in a profession where he could be of service to others, take pride in his work, and feel personal satisfaction and fulfillment. Hes always been a people person, and dentistry has given him a chance to get to know people and build wonderful relationships.
Dr. Nguyen truly believes that great oral health is not a privilege; its a basic need. His goal as a dentist is to provide all of his patients with friendly service, personalized care, and high-quality dental treatment made affordable.
Dr. Nguyen graduated from UC-Irvine, then went on to complete his DDS degree at the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. He is a certified Invisalign provider and has completed extensive training in implant dentistry with Nobel Biocare.
Dr. Nguyen has always enjoyed jobs that allow him to interact with people in a meaningful way. Dentistry has given him the opportunity to provide a service to individuals on a personal level, and to also give back to his community on a broader scale. He genuinely loves what he does.

Dr. Calvin Dang grew up in Southern California but moved to the Bay Area to attend the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. Following his dental training, he completed a rigorous 3-year postgraduate residency program in periodontics at UCSF, where he served as Chief Resident. During this specialty training Dr. Dang also received his Master of Science (MS) degree.
Dr. Dang is actively involved in many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. Dr. Dang keeps up-to-date on many continuing educational classes to ensure that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care possible.
Dr. Dang's skills cover a wide range of periodontal issues: advanced (deep) cleanings and surgeries to correct gum disease, tissue grafts for recession, implants to replace missing teeth, extractions, bone grafts, soft tissue regeneration, and many other specialty treatments that only a well-trained periodontist can provide.
Dr. Connie Nguyen earned her bachelors degree at UC Irvine, then went on to complete her DDS degree at the University of California San Francisco and her postgraduate periodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. She served as Chief Resident during her residency, which taught her leadership and management skills that continue to make her a valuable member of the Cosmetic and Dental Implant Center team.
Dr. Nguyen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontoloy, the San Diego County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
