Dr. Katie Vo grew up in Minnesota, and attended the University of Minnesota for her bachelors degree (BS) in child psychology. She also completed her dental and orthodontic education at the University of Minnesota, and was honored with the Pierre Fauchard Certificate of Merit for outstanding and dedicated service to the dental profession. After graduation, Dr. Vo and her family moved to San Antonio for the warmer weather, and once there, Dr. Vo attended West Texas A&M University to earn her masters degree in business administration (MBA).
She has over eight years of experience in the exclusive practice of orthodontics, and is dedicated to staying up to date on the latest research and techniques in orthodontic care. Her lifelong love of learning means regular attendance at continuing education and training seminars, as well as being an active member of several organizations including: American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Association of Orthodontists, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society.
When not in the office, Dr. Vo enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and several family pets. She loves running, reading, theater, traveling, and movies. She is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles, and feels blessed to have the opportunity to serve her patients and communitys orthodontic needs.
Dr. Alghadban, known by Dr. Al, has been practicing dentistry since 2001. He graduated as a general dentist from his home town dental school, Damascus University School of Dentistry, in 2001. Dr. Alghadban practiced general dentistry until he decided to pursue a postdoctoral education in periodontics.
Dr. Al was accepted to the Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry postdoctoral program in Periodontology. He achieved his specialty license after an intense three year training program that placed a heavy emphasis on the clinical treatment of patients and clinical research activities. Dr. Alghadban practices contemporary surgical and nonsurgical modalities, including tissue regeneration, dental implants, laser surgery, and esthetic periodontal surgery. He is licensed to perform IV sedation for his patients with special needs and dental anxiety so patients can be completely relieved from their worries and have the best relaxing treatment experience.
What inspired me to specialize in Periodontology and Implantology is the fact that it focuses on treating the foundation of our teeth, treating and maintaining healthy bone, gums, and teeth, and an overall healthy mouth. I strive to provide the best treatment and experience for my patients by integrating the latest, most advanced technology, sedation dentistry, and the skills I have learned over my 20 years in dental practice.
Dr. Castillo wanted to further her education and earned her Masters degree in Public Health at Southern Illinois University- Carbondale. During her public health externship, she was able to work directly on dental programs focused on improving patients oral care and providing services to help the community with limited access to dental care. Dr. Castillo graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After many years of cold winters and lots of snow, she is excited to be back in Texas with her husband, James, and her beautiful daughter, Charlotte. Dr. Castillo is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA) and the San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS). When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Castillo enjoys spending time with her family, participating in her local SADDS chapters fantasy football league, and enjoying a good movie.

I have been in the Dental field for over 10 years, with experience in Orthodontics and General Dentistry. I am from San Antonio, born and raised. My passion is to help patients understand their treatment and educate them about the necessity of the treatment diagnosed by the Dentist. I just recently started in the Dental Field as a Registered Dental Assistant. I have loved working with patients and take pride in making our patients experience a special one.
