My passion for dentistry derived from my love of art and science. It is said that a smile can say 1000 words. I believe in Dentistry we can create a work of art in peoples smiles every day. I aspire to build relationships with my patients and give them the confidence of a healthy smile. I hope to make an impact in people's lives and show them there are no strangers in life, just friends we havent met yet.
Dr. Aportela completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at New York University Langone Health in Fort Myers, Florida. As part of her commitment to continually expanding her dentistry knowledge, Dr. Aportela has also completed the From TMJ to Smile Design Functional Occlusion Course by The Dawson Academy.
Dr. Aportela is an active member of the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Association, and the American Association of Women Dentists.
When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Aportela loves artistic DIY projects such as interior decorating and creating memorable videos for special occasions. She is also a car enthusiast who loves customizing vehicles. She has a passion for traveling, learning about different cultures, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family and friends.
