Wonderful experience wouldnt think of going anywhere else. Have been using them since Dr. Betts joined Dr. Whitmire years ago. My youngest son had problem on a Saturday and Dr.Betts met us at the office. Called that night to check on him. I have never forgot that and its been at least 30 yrs ago. Dr. Bettss professional life began at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1989 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After graduation, he joined a practice in Decatur, which he purchased two years later.
In 2000, he was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The AGD awards this honor to its members who successfully complete extensive continuing education requirements (a minimum of 500 continuing education credit hours) and a comprehensive examination.
Dr. Bettss goal has been to provide the kind of personalized treatment and service he knows his patients deserve. He believes there is more to being a good dentist than creating healthy smiles. Thats why he values taking the time to get to know his patients. Dr. Betts loves his work. He also loves music, and he often combines his two passions by humming as he goes about his day. When hes not in the office, Dr. Betts enjoys travel, music, spending time with his family, and history. Dr. Betts has been interested in history for much of his life; he studied history as an undergraduate at Emory University.

Michelle began her dental career in 1997 and has been with our practice since 2007. She has been married for 25 years and has one child, who lives in South Carolina. Her hobbies are crafting (sewing and crocheting) and spending time with family.
Kelli began her dental career in 2020 and has worked in an office since 2018. When shes not improving our patient experience, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two sons, who keep her busy. She also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Samantha began her dental career in 2014, joining our team soon after graduation. She loves spending time teaching patients proper care of their teeth. Samantha is married with one daughter. Her hobbies are sewing and watching Netflix, and she is interested in being more outdoorsy.
Natasha began her dental career after graduating in 2007. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry. She greets everyone with her friendly smile when they first enter our office. Away from work, Natasha enjoys family time, being a mom, and shopping.
Diana began her dental career in 1994 while still in high school and later became a registered dental assistant. She has worked in both the clinical and administrative side of dentistry. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, and volunteer work. She is also a wonderful cook!
Kasey began her dental career with us in 2014. She, her husband, and their daughter are very involved in their church, where she teaches children and loves to go on mission trips. She also enjoys camping, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
