Dr. Addy actually grew up as the son of a dentist, and he loved science from a young age. He always wanted to be able to use science in some way to help others. While in college, he would regularly volunteer at a dental clinic that served populations who could not help themselves, and this tremendously rewarding experience inspired him to enter into the profession. All these years later, hes still completely confident that he made the right choice!
Dr. Addy completed both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California. He also attended a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in West Los Angeles, has extensively trained at the world-renowned Kois Center, and was even voted as one of San Diegos top cosmetic and family dentists by San Diego Magazine for 2017 and 2018! Dr. Addy is originally from Ventura, which is the home of the longest wooden pier. He and his wife Darlene have a young son named Jackson, and his brother and parents live nearby in Los Angeles and Ventura, respectively. Outside of dentistry, one of his biggest passions is participating in triathlons and half marathons, such as the ones in Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Triple Crown, and many more. He also serves as a member of the Carlsbad Rotary Clubs foundation board, plays golf and basketball, cycles, spends time with loved ones, and cheers for the San Diego Padres.

Dee has over 25 years of experience in the dental field! She genuinely enjoys helping patients get what they want and need so they can have a phenomenal experience while preserving their oral health and beautiful smiles. She completed her studies at Western International University and is a certified OMS assistant.
Originally from Valley Center, Darlene studied at the University of Southern California for her dental hygiene degree. Today, she has been working in the oral healthcare field for over a decade! When it comes to what she likes most about her job, shed have to pick being able to meet so many new people every day and getting to know the patients well over time.
Darlene is happily married to Dr. Addy, and they have a little son named Jackson together. Outside of the dental office, she loves traveling, going to the beach, exploring new parts of San Diego, doing mini triathlons, exploring new restaurants, spending quality time with her son, and cheering for the San Diego Padres. She also loves country music and considers herself a country girl at heart!
Ella studied at Arizona State University before attending dental hygiene school at Carrington College. Since joining our team in 2019, her favorite aspect of her job is connecting with patients and getting to know them while improving their oral health and confidence.
Andrea received her assistant training from the Riverside County of Education and is also certified in CPR. Today, her career in the dental field spans over eight years and counting. She really enjoys working alongside such a supportive, friendly team each day at Carlsbad Beach Dental, Drew Addy DDS. Being so close to the coast is a big plus as well!
At home, Andrea has a fianc named Jose and a son named Javier. Whenever shes not busy at work, her hobbies include spending quality time with loved ones, taking her son to the beach, exploring new restaurants, and going on road trips. Shes also a very crafty person and loves planning parties.
Carolina enjoys helping patients of all walks of life with different dental health needs while assisting Dr. Addy. She goes above and beyond to create a genuinely comfortable atmosphere for each new arrival!
Outside of work, Carolina has a beautiful family of four that includes two daughters and a wonderful husband. Together, they love exploring new places like beaches and parks, as well as traveling whenever they have the opportunity. Most of all, though, they simply love spending quality time together. As for personal hobbies, she enjoys surfing, hiking, running, and playing in the rain.
Brittanys career in the dental world spans over five years now. She studied at the University of Southern California and is also certified in laser dentistry! Today, what she loves most about her work is being able to build relationships with patients while also helping them improve their oral and overall health.
Brittany is close with her parents and younger brother. Shes also planning to marry her wonderful fianc in fall of 2022! As for hobbies, she enjoys hiking, doing yoga, traveling, going to concerts, watching reality TV (its her guilty pleasure), and spending plenty of quality time with loved ones on the weekends and holidays.
