Dr. Michael Shipp received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville in 2006. He then continued his education and earned a GPR certificate in 2007 for completing a 1 year advanced dental training residency. Dr. Shipp's favorite procedures are dental implants, smile makeovers and Invisalign orthodontics. He does addtional training and continuing education every year to ensure our patients are receiving the best treatments and newest technology.
In 2018 Dr. Shipp joined the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and is an expert in facial treatments such as Botox to smooth wrinkles and dermal fillers for lips, cheek enhancements, nasiolabial folds and acne scars. This allows him to give patients the whole package and amazing results with the smile makeovers and veneers we do! Dr. Shipp also is a leader in treating migraines, tension headaches, chronic facial pain and TMJ issues pain with Botox. We are Medicare providers and have additional training and expertise in treating Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea with comfortable oral appliances instead of the dreaded CPAP machine that 50% of users won't even wear.
Dr. Shipp is a member of the following groups: the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Idaho State Dental Association. He attends nationally renown and accredited continuing education courses each year to stay current on all the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Shipp has treated thousands of adults and children here in the Treasure Valley.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Shipp enjoys playing basketball, golf and tennis. He loves taking family and friends boating and wake surfing. He enjoys spending time with his family and being invloved with their hobbies and interests.
Jennifer is an Idaho native and has been working in the dental field for 19 years with 5 of those years being a part of the Bristol Heights Dental team. She is passionate about educating patients of all ages on the importance of a healthy mouth with an individualized approach. Jennifer is also a part time group fitness instructor so motivating people and meeting all individuals at their level is something she strives for. In her free time she is active with her two young boys exploring and adventuring.
Brittany started in the dental field in 2019, transitioning from working in a med spa. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and her favorite procedures are extractions, implant surgery AND Botox of course! In her free time, she likes to spend time doing activities with her 4-year-old daughter.
Jenna has been in the dental field for almost a year now. She made the decision to go into the dental field because it offers many opportunities for growth. Her favorite thing about being in dental is making people feel good about their smile and making personal connections with others. In her free time she loves going to the gym and spending quality time with friends and family!
In her role as a registered dental hygienist, Michelle has been practicing over nineteen years. She graduated from Sheridan Community College in 2002 with an associate degree in dental hygiene. She likes being part of a team that provides a high level of care and is on the cutting edge of technology. Quality patient care is very important to her and being sure that patients receive the absolute best care while with her is one of her top priorities. Michelle and her husband, Justin, have a love for the outdoors and spend most of their time fishing, hunting, and enjoying off road adventuring on their Polaris Razor.
Ashton got her start in dental working front office and insurance in 2019 at an office in Northwestern Montana. She recently moved to Idaho and is excited to continue her career in the dental field. She is passionate about making every patient feel as welcome and educated as possible whether it be procedures or finances. She is always striving to learn and absorb all that she can. When Aston isnt in the office you can find her in the gym or in the ski slopes, traveling to new places, as well as spending quality time with her significant other and fur-baby at home.
