Dr. Huxford loves living in Boulder City. He is currently the only BC resident that owns not one but two local dental practices. As an invested and active member of the community, you may frequently see him in a local parade, serving in the community, and coaching or announcing for one of Boulder City High Schools Eagles teams. He loves to wake board and bike scenic Lake Mead. He also enjoys flying airplanes and riding horses. He and his wife Rachelle raised their five children right here in Boulder City.
Dr. Andrew Huxford grew up in Oregon where he worked on a farm as a kid. He graduated from Southern Utah University and became a High School teacher in Physical Education and Science, ultimately receiving a Masters Degree in Education at UNLV.
After 8 years of teaching, Dr. Huxford decided to make a career change into the field of dentistry, so he returned to school and received the pre-med degree that would qualify him for dental school. He and his wife Rachelle moved to Colorado where they spent the next four years at the University of Colorado. They relocated to Boulder City in 1991.
