Dr. Andrew Nguyen grew up in nearby Huntington Beach and then went on to complete his undergraduate studies at UCLA with a dual major in biology and psychology. After college, Dr. Nguyen moved up the coast to earn his dental degree at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Afterward, he made his way to Texas where he completed one year of advanced general dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Dentistry. During his time in San Antonio, Dr. Nguyen received further training in dental surgeries, implants, and IV sedation. He was then drawn to the vibrant beauty of Austin, Texas and spent years honing in on his expertise before returning to the beautiful golden coast, eager to serve the communities in Orange County.
Dr. Nguyen continuously strives to an integral part of the dental profession and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he is currently a fellow.
Growing up in Southern California really help develop Dr. Nguyens love for the outdoors. He is often found outside on a trail, camera in hand to capture all of natures beauty. When hes out of the office, he is a dog-dad to a rescued shelter mutt, and enjoys his time with family and friends. He also enjoys food whether that be trying new food or cooking up new concoctions.
