Dr. Dannegger was born and raised in St. Louis and after graduating UMKC School of Dentistry, moved to Springfield in 2000 to start his dental office and raise his family. Dr. D, as he is referred to by all the patients, originally started his career in construction and then sales before entering dental school. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Laura, and they have three growing teenage children.
Dr. D enjoys being able to improve patients oral health, function, and esthetics through modern dentistry. He focuses on what patients need to be healthy and have good function, which in turn improves the look of things. He believes it is always important to focus on what is best for the patient. Therefore, each patient gets an individualized custom treatment plan that fits their needs, desires, and budget. In addition to operating Best Impressions Family Dentistry, he works on the Ronald McDonald House Tooth Truck as well as being on their Board of Directors for over 8 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Springfield Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
