Ive worked as an orthodontist for over 10 years and I still enjoy what I do. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are priceless! It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at-home when they come to me for treatment; and, I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
I am a Board certified orthodontist and an Assistant Professor at the University of the Pacific. Teaching help me to stay current with the latest technology and orthodontic treatments and allows me to maintain my own education.
My duties include assisting, supplies, back office training, schedule management and lab work. Ive been with Dr. Amer since January 2009, but have been in the field of dentistry since 1988. My favorite thing about orthodontics is helping patients. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Amer is how he educates and explains procedures to both patients and staff and how he treats the team like family. Im a native of Apple Valley, California, and currently live in Santa Cruz, California. I have been married for 10 years and have two daughters who are 5 and 3 years old. In my free time, I like to garden, scrapbook and enjoy family outings and vacations.
