Dr. Shepard is an active member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Shepard grew up in the Tampa Bay area, and after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill she practiced as a dental hygienist for three years in Cary, North Carolina. She was excited to return closer to family and warmer weather for dental school at the University of Florida. Outside of the office, Dr. Shepard enjoys spending time with her husband and 5-year-old English lab Hudson. She also enjoys reading mystery thrillers, working out at Orange Theory, doing yoga, waterskiing, and cheering on her favorite college basketball team, The North Carolina Tar Heels. She is excited to be back in the Tampa Bay area!
