Known throughout the area as a skilled and gentle dentist, Dr. Mizell loves providing care to all ages. She considers it a particular honor to care for multiple generations of the same family, and loves watching children grow up.
A former naval officer, Dr. Mizell was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) by the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Since graduation, she has pursued many hours of continuing education, always seeking to improve and expand on the care options she offers her patients.
In addition to advanced training in pediatric dentistry, through a mini residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Mizell has completed multiple courses and seminars, and regularly attends lectures. She also stays current on oral healthcare research, new technology, and developments in treatments through memberships in professional organizations.
Dr. Mizell has hand-selected her dental team, looking for people who are compassionate, experienced, and who love helping others. This ensures every patient receives the highest level of care during their visit. I love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.

Stephanie has been working as a dental assistant for three years. She graduated from Everest College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved back to the Emerald Coast after her husband returned from deployment. Stephanie enjoys fishing in the Gulf, paddle boarding and going to the beach. She was awarded lady angler in several local fishing tournaments and loves cooking her fresh catch! Stephanie loves working with Children and education patients about their oral hygiene.
Megan is originally from Winchester, Virginia and moved to the Emerald Coast in 2012. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 and decided to further her education in dental hygiene at Virginia Western Community College. She has worked with Dr. Mizell since January 2013. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, hiking, jogging and going to the beach, but spending time with her family takes top priority. As a hygienist, Megan really enjoys getting to know her patients personally and strives to make them feel welcome and appreciated with they visit the office.
Courtney graduated form Fortis Institute in Pensacola, Florida in 2011 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She has been working in our office since 2013. She enjoys working in dentistry and is pursuing to further her dental education. Courtney moved to Florida with her mother, father and sister in 1998 and has lived her ever since her father retired here from the Air Force. She enjoys living near the beaches of Florida.
Corbin is a lifelong resident of Florida. She graduated from Northwest Florida State College as a DANB Certified Assistant in 2013. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. Corbin welcomes the challenge of working with special needs patients and incorporates that love into her profession.
