Dr. Nolting grew up in Byron Minnesota just outside Rochester. He attended the University of Minnesota for undergraduate work and Dental School. Erick returned to Byron to practice dentistry with his father after graduating in 2003. In 2005 Dr. Nolting moved to Alexandria where he and his wife Donell reside.
Dr. Nolting enjoys outdoor sports and spending time on the lakes. He volunteers both providing care and serving on the board of directors at the Caring Hands Dental Clinic in Alexandria. Dr. Nolting is a volunteer Ski Patroller at Andes Tower Hills ski area.
Dr. Nolting enjoys providing exceptional dental care to members of his practice and has a special interest in treating patients with Sleep Apnea. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, West Central District Dental Society, Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Minnesota Sleep Society. Dr. Nolting has achieved Diplomate status from the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines.
Kris has been with our office since June 2006, she is the first smiling face you see when you enter our office. Along with greeting patients, Kris specializes as the Patient Care Coordinator. She loves to make patients feel welcome to the office and helps them with their financial options by reviewing insurance benefits. Kris has worked in dentistry for 15+ years and currently resides in Alexandria, MN. In her free time Kris spends as much time as she can with her granddaughters.
Janet has been with our office since August 2017, being new to dentistry she has learned a lot about helping patients with financial arrangements and checking into insurance benefits. Janet is a native of Alexandria, MN and could not imagine living anywhere else. In her spare time Janet enjoys fishing with her husband, gardening, hanging out with her cat Max, and spending time with friends and family.
A licensed Dental Hygienist, Cari graduated from MSCTC of Moorhead, MN in 2003 for Dental Hygiene, and again in 2007 from Mankato State for her Bachelors of Dental Hygiene. Cari joined our practice in April 2016, but has been practicing hygiene for 16 years. Cari provides friendly and gentle preventative visits and enjoys educating all patients about their dental health. Cari lives in Freeport, MN with her husband and 3 children. In her spare time she enjoys camping and spending time with her friends and family.
A certified and licensed Dental Assistant, Jenny graduated St. Cloud Technical College in 2018. She joined our practice in May 2021 and is excited to get to know each patient while providing exceptional dental care. Currently residing in Spring Hill, MN, Jenny enjoys going on pontoon rides, spending time with friends and family, and watching Twins baseball games.
A licensed Dental Assistant, Cindy graduated from Canby Technical College in 1980. Cindy has worked with Dr. Nolting since he bought the practice in April, 2005, as well as has worked in dentistry for 39 years. Cindy focuses on patient comfort while assisting and enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. She loves to work with all patients but especially enjoys working with children. Cindy and her husband have two adult children that they love to spend time with. In her spare time Cindy enjoys camping, fishing, and playing with her 2 dogs and 2 cats.
A certified and licensed Dental Assistant, Beckycia graduated from Minnesota West Technical Community College in 2019. She joined Alexandria Smiles in May 2021, and loves being able to put a smile on patients faces. Beckycia moved to Alexandria in October 2019 with her husband and 3 children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the lake, reading, and attending Vikings games with her husband.
A certified and licensed Dental Assistant, Jordyn graduated from St. Cloud Technical College in 2020. Jordyn joined our practice in June 2020 and is excited to work in an office with innovative technology. Jordyn loves to get to know each patient and make them feel at home at our office. Jordyn resides in Starbuck, MN. In her spare time Jordyn enjoys spending time with her two dogs Bella and Nala, camping, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.
A certified and licensed Dental Assistant, MaKenna graduated from St. Cloud Technical College in 2018. MaKenna joined our practice in May 2018 and is excited to continue to grow in her knowledge of dentistry and career as an assistant. MaKenna loves to give patients confidence in their smile and wants everyone to leave knowing they received great dental care. MaKenna and her husband reside in Carlos, MN. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, reading, and spending time with their fur baby Morty.
