Dr. Staffen is constantly striving to utilize his extensive training and experience to provide the highest-quality dental care to his patients and he is excited to continue doing so for the patients at Abundant Smiles. He strongly believes that providing both an educational and comfortable treatment experience promotes lifelong dental health for his patients.
Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Staffen graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and then attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Following dental school, Dr. Staffen elected to complete a General Practice Residency program at Swedish Medical Center and Seattle Special Care Dentistry. As a resident, he gained significant experience in sedation administration, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, implant surgery and management of various medical complexities. Dr. Staffen is well equipped to provide comprehensive dental services to the patients of Abundant Smiles and continues to prioritize enhancing his knowledge and skillset.
I believe communication is one of the most important aspects in achieving mutually desired results. More important, is often the clinical skills of the dentist as achieve those healthy results is not something that should be taken lightly. I strive to help my patients feel comfortable, not only with the treatment itself, but also with their understanding of the treatment.
Dr. Colton Odle is passionate about providing his patients with the types of smiles they will proudly share with others. At Abundant Smiles, Dr. Odle combines his training in full mouth restorations with his passion for comprehensive dentistry to help his patients achieve an array of dental goals safely, and a relaxed environment.
Dr. Odle grew up working on his Grandfathers sheep farm in Northern Utah where he quickly learned the importance of hard work and dedication. Skills he used when focusing on his studies at Utah State University where he Graduated with a BS in Biology. Dr. Odle then attended the prestigious University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he graduated with his DMD Degree (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry).
After Dental School, Dr. Odle and his wife Rebecca enjoyed the Bluegrass of Louisville Kentucky while he completed a General Practice Residency program at University of Louisville Hospital Dentistry. In residency, Dr. Odle was trained and mentored by some of the nations leading prosthodontists, cosmetic dentists, and oral surgeons. He received extensive training in implant dentistry, full mouth reconstructive dentistry, treating medically compromised patients, oral surgery procedures, and root canal therapy. With his advanced training, Dr. Odle is capable of providing the excellent comprehensive Dental care patients have come to expect from Abundant Smiles.
In his free time Dr. Odle enjoys hiking in the mountains and open outdoor spaces with his wife Rebecca and 4-year-old Corgi mix, Charles. He is a huge fan of all sports, especially football. Expect to find him each weekend cheering on his Utah State Aggies Football and the Denver Broncos in the fall.
